Mentoring & Training

Dr. Green has mentored numerous graduate and medical students with strong outcomes. He participates annually as a summer undergraduate mentor and contributes to the Neuroscience Graduate Program.

Training Philosophy

Dr. Green provides hands-on training in behavioral neuroscience, molecular biology, and translational research. Since joining UTMB in 2009, he has created or redeveloped seven courses across multiple graduate programs and co-developed the curriculum for the Pharmacology & Toxicology Master of Science degree program, launched in 2019.

Dr. Green is committed to fostering the next generation of researchers. He participates annually as a summer undergraduate mentor and supports students in organizing the Neuroscience Graduate Program Student Symposium, now in its fifth year.
